What it is.
ISO 22301:2019 specifies requirements for a business continuity management system (BCMS). It helps an organisation understand what matters most, plan how to keep it running during disruption, and prove the plans work.
ITCCS is a consultant, not a certification body. Certification is issued by an accredited certification body after an independent audit.
Who usually needs it
- Organisations where downtime stops revenue or service
- Suppliers whose clients ask for continuity evidence
- Regulated firms with resilience expectations

How we help with ISO 22301
The heart of ISO 22301 is the business impact analysis: which activities matter most and how long each can stop. We run it with your process owners, set recovery objectives, then write continuity and IT recovery plans that are actually exercised, with backup restore tests and a tabletop exercise recorded as evidence.
No. IT disaster recovery is one part. ISO 22301 covers people, premises, suppliers and processes too.
Yes. Both use the same management system structure, so governance, internal audit and review can be combined.
An accredited certification body after an independent audit. ITCCS is a consultant.
